Today we left at 8:30am to the Grand Canyon. It is one of the 7th world wonders. But first we make a stop at the Cameron Trading Post. Where we got some coffee and shopped for souvenirs. After the stop we drove to the first view point, that one was called Watchtower - Desert View. The second view point was Grandview Overlook where we took another group photo. The third stop was at the Visitor Center and after that we went hiking on the rim to Hermit's Rest. Somewhere in the middle we took the bus. But the last part we also walked. From Hermiss rest we also took the bus back to the parking. All the stops had a very beautiful view over the Grand Canyon. After hiking we went to the helicopter. Six of us went flyingt. The flight was amazing. We had a very nice view from above. After we had spent the whole day at the Grand Canyon we went to Williams where our hotel was situated.

Day 7 - Las Vegas - Zion NP - Bryce NP

Looks like our bus had an awesome night in Las Vegas because when we tried to load the luggage it was covered in toilet paper. After cleaning up the mess we left the hotel, totally broke cause off the gambling and a big hangover, at 8:45am after another crazy Vegas-out-in-town night. At around 11am we stopped at Lin's Supermarket in Hurricane, Utah to buy sandwiches and other picknick supplies. From there it was only a short drive to Zion National Park. On the way there we passed a few Rock Shops and small American towns. One street was covered with American flags because this is the Memorial weekend, a very big holiday in the US. Inside the park it was very windy but everyone (except Marshé) went on a 2h hike to the Emerald Pools.
At 3:45pm we continued our journey towards Bryce Canyon. On the way we stopped at The Window view point and The Checkerboard Mesa view point. In Bryce we visited Bryce View Point, Inspiration Point, Sunset Point, there we walked to Sunrise Point. We finally arrived at the Bryce View Lodge at 7:15pm.

8:30am : We left the Holiday Inn Hotel in Visalia and drove through the Mojave desert. After about three hours we arrived in Barstow where we had lunch. After the stop it was only a few miles to the Ghost Town of Calico. There we made a stop of about an hour and walked through this little town up the mountain. Once it was a ghost town but they rebuild the buildings and made souvenir shops in it.
After Calico we drove another 2.5 hours but eventually we made it to Las Vegas.
